TRAINING EXPERIENCE
Trained and coached several hundred volunteer mediators who served as volunteers in D.C. Circuit programs. This consisted of initial two-day training sessions for all volunteers, repeated in-service lunches and training sessions for volunteers during their service and individual coaching of volunteers as they handled cases.
Taught class in mediation and mediation advocacy in Masters Degree Program at George Washington Law School.
Collaborated with and trained Egyptian judges in mediation techniques during U.S. State Department-sponsored trip to Egypt in wake of 9/11.
Met with numerous groups of foreign judges visiting federal courthouse to learn about U.S. court-based mediation programs.
Gave speeches and participated in numerous training exercises over the years that were designed to educate lawyers about mediation.
